New Garden

The weather has been great the past few weeks for working outside.  Keeping active is one of the best ways to fight Parkinson's, but I suppose really, it is good for everyone. I used to spend a lot of time sitting at my desk working on the computer for work, but now that I am retired, I can get out and enjoy the weather and ensure I get some physical activity every day.

One of my favourite activities is gardening. I like vegetable gardens because of the fresh produce, but I also enjoy growing flowers of all kinds.  This is my latest flower garden with a blue spruce tree at the corner.  A special thanks is due to one of our neighbours who brought over the old cedar rails.

There is currently daffodils growing, but later I look forward to the Dutch Irises, a hosta, and a white rose.  I also planted some anemone in the outer ring which should bloom late spring and into summer.
